Roger Murtaugh and Martin Riggs join forces on the force. Murtaugh is a veteran detective on the force and Riggs, a former Navy SEAL, joins on as his partner. It's unfortunate for Murtaugh that, as he tries to maintain a low stress level in his life, his new partner is a tad bit unhinged due to a tragic event in his life months prior. From noise complaints to brutal killings, the partnership is constantly put to the test. Not to mention that Trish, Murtaugh's wife is not very fond of the new partnership he was forced into with Riggs. The partners will need to try their best to coexist, as their different styles are as much of a contrast as one can imagine.
